Engineers Day, 2021 was observed by the Institution of Public Health Engineers, India on 15thSeptember, 2021 to felicitate the senior members of the institution with a citation, who are of the age of 80 and above for their long association with IPHE, India. A virtual group discussion through Google meet was arranged by the Institution on the day.
The event was
held for about an hour from 4.30 pm onwards on the day and started with self-
introduction of the participants and welcome address by Dr. N. B. Basu,
Vice-President IPHE, followed by the address of Shri B. K. Sengupta, Secretary
General. The participants, while sharing their thoughts,welcomed the decision
made by the Institution to felicitate the senior members, made many suggestions
about future activities of the Institution and also discussed about the basic objective
of the day. The participantsincluded Shri S. K. Mukherjee, Editor,
ShriParitoshTyagi, Shri S. K. Chadha, ShriBipin Panda, Shri V. K. Gupta,
ShriBiplabMukhopadhyay, ShriDebashishGanguly, Shri R. Panirselvamand Dr. AlokSuman,
Fellow members. The event ended with the presidential address by Prof. K. J.
Nath, President, IPHE India. Formal vote of thanks was presented by ShriK. A. Roy, Council Member, IPHE India, who
coordinated the programme.
